In school, I was immensely impressed by the poems of William Wordsworth, especially Daffodils. Then in the art school at Baroda, our teacher, Nasreen
Mohamedi, asked us to draw a small piece of land i.e. 1 square foot. It was the most challenging drawing assignment I ever faced. It was then that I realized how beautiful and bountiful that small, seemingly insignificant, piece of earth was. Maybe it is all coming back. Then this probably is my tribute to Nasreen (an artist, a teacher and a friend, I immensely admired).
Incidently, Daffodils was also titled as I Wondered Lonely as a Cloud. A state I am in.
